Group prize
The prestigious group awards are intended to acknowledge outstanding work in the field of combustion. These awards will be given in order to recognise noteworthy excellence in combustion science.
- Ricardo award for best UK paper
For significant technological advance or significance of the contribution in advancing understanding at a fundamental level. - Huw Edwards prize for services to combustion physics
For outstanding contribution to Combustion Physics. - Lefebvre prize for best UK PhD thesis in the field of combustion physics
This award will be judged on the significance of the contribution, and difficulties overcome. - Felix Weinberg prize
For best paper presented at the “Early-Career Researchers” meeting, organised by the IOP Combustion Physics Group and held every two years. A profile of Professor Felix Weinberg can be found here.
